Without concrete projects MIVA cannot exist. MIVA is no end in itself and the organisation keeps to its basic idea. It does not invent a pastoral programme, does not organize vaccination programmes, does not initiate schools and does not train priests. But MIVA finances vehicles for all these projects and many more. MIVA does not decide what the vehicles have to be used for – the project partners from the young churches of the whole world inform MIVA for which tasks the vehicles are needed. These people themselves know best what is important for them.
