MIVA concrete donation
A bicycle can save a life in an emergency, it provides access to education and brings catechists to distant villages. But a nimble mule can also do great things. For example, it secures the livelihood of families in Haiti by transporting the laboriously harvested goods to the market kilometres away. A wheelchair or a tricycle, on the other hand, gives physically impaired people new hope and courage to face life again in their arduous everyday lives.
A MIVA bicycle, for example, costs 100 euros. A MIVA wheelchair 250 Euros, a MIVA tricycle 350 Euros and a MIVA mule 400 Euros. But how valuable are these means of transport if they make education possible, secure livelihoods, save a human life and give hope?
